The System Studies newsletter, AirTalk, is printed about twice a year. In 1997 it replaced our previous newletter, the Gazette, which had an impressive run of 52 issues beginning back in January of 1981. Like its predecessor, AirTalk continues to provide informative articles about various aspects of cable pressurization—from system monitoring and leak locating to new design possibilities and engineering strategies.

Many of you have used the tips in these newsletter to help solve your leak locating problems and streamline your maintenance activities. However, we also realize that many of you may be new to cable pressurization and have not had the opportunity to read our past newsletters. That's why we're highlighting some of the best articles from previous issues on this page. We hope that, regardless of whether you have been in pressurization for years or are a relative newcomer, you will be able to benefit from the information.
