PressureMAP Capabilities
The information below describes several of the important capabilities of the current version of PressureMAP. Because it provides details on specific program functionality, it is most useful for existing and/or experienced PressureMAP users. If you are unfamiliar with PressureMAP, please refer first to the PressureMAP Datasheet and Benefits summary.
Note: For a more complete list of PressureMAP capabilities and enhancements, check out this
datasheet.
PressureMAP-Specific Functionality:
- Mega Office
PressureMAP now accommodates multiple Mega Offices which provide quicker access to data in several subordinate offices. The subordinate offices are generally small offices monitored by Dial-a-Ducers, uM260 Micro Monitors or Universal Stand-Alone Modules. The Mega Office performs PressureMAP's dispatching, alarming, indexing and device history functions.
- Combined Pair Diagnostics Menu
A new 289 Diagnostics menu selection, Pair Diagnostics, was added to PressureMAP in Version 26. This new capability combines output from four of the available diagnostics tests into one output. Included in the report are: DC Voltage Test, AC Voltage Test, Leakage Test and Capacitance Test.
- Craft Ability to Modify/Update Specific Device Info
PressureMAP's Specific Device Information menu includes the capability of allowing field technicians to enter extended comments, cable flow readings and additional sheath designations. This makes it possible to add important cable information into the PressureMAP database from the field without having to access the data entry portion of the program.
- Expanded Task per Day Allocation
Due to its expanded office monitoring capability, PressureMAP now allows for a maximum of 9,999 tasks per day (up from 999).
- Device Discrepancy Report
Provides a line-to-line comparison of key PressureMAP device data field information with corresponding information in the CPAMS monitors. Available only for Sparton 5300B and 5318, Hercules 740 and 940, and Chatlos L3 monitors.
- File Browser Functionality
Allows scrolling through task dispatch and device histories, search by device number, and export to DOS options.
- Diagnostic Interface to CPAMS
Allows interaction with Cable Pressurization Automatic Monitor System (CPAMS) to perform manual scans, maintenance, or data entry without leaving PressureMAP.
- Office Mode Field
Allows you to enable or disable an entire PressureMAP office.
- Simultaneous Data Collection
Places calls to multiple monitors simultaneously.
- Device History by Reading
Allows the sorting of Device Histories by readings.
- Device History Listing by Access Number
This new command option in Version 20.01 allows you to request Device Histories that display access numbers instead of device numbers.
- Remote Editing
Allows PressureMAP data entry or editing to be done from any laptop or PC via LAN connection or dial-up modem.
- CPAMS Password Control
PressureMAP now provides the ability to display or not display an office monitor's password in the CPAMS Configuration Menu Password 1 data field.
- Improved Indexing
Disregards problems caused by rapid drops in temperature in calculating SQI.
- Index Generation
Generate a new office index on demand or after data entry/changes are made.
