2–Day Regional 289H LSS Team Training

This hands-on instructional seminar describes 289H LSS installation requirements, including existing monitor conversion, data entry, and diagnostics testing. At the conclusion of the course, you will have a working 289H LSS office, a practical strategy for future office conversions, and in-depth understanding of the 289H Diagnostics program. This on-site training includes the following:
  • Our team works with your technicians and/or outside plant vendors to complete a 289H installation and/or conversion. The PressureMAP Staff is urged to attend.
  • Utilizing laptop computers, personnel are shown how to convert Chatlos, Sparton, Hercules, and other monitoring system data for use within PressureMAP.
  • This phase of instruction explains methods of printing out the documentation and data necessary to convert the office.
  • The training team demonstrates, assists and observes technicians in using cutover worksheets to actually install and convert working transducers to the 289H LSS.
  • After the 289H LSS installation and cutover has been completed, our instructors will demonstrate the use of the 289H Diagnostics program to test air dryer monitoring reliability and verify that all devices are reading properly.
  • Further instruction is provided on using the 289H Diagnostics program to perform pair analysis and troubleshooting on field devices—including realtime readings and capacitance, leakage and AC/DC testing.
This course is designed for those who are responsible for the installation, maintenance and/or administration of cable pressurization monitors, and for air pressure technicians responsible for maintaining pressurized cable systems.
